i have the nzxt h440 case and cant find the fan piece that plugs into the mobo i found the male piece but not the female piece. and the sata ports look like they have caps on them it is a gigabyte ud3 990fxa board

There should be a power cord coming from each fan, usually 3-pin or 4-pin. This plugs into a 3-pin or 4-pin usually white connector on the motherboard labeled "fan1" "fan2" "CPU fan" and such.
