hello i was thinking into buying this r7 260X http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161460&cm_re=r7_260x-_-14-161-460-_-Product and it shows i need a 500w power supply but is it possible to run it at 430 watts? here is the link to my power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CjwKEAjw9-CfBRD8lt_w86zJiDUSJAADZA38kzfzcTsAMOpI_4AMMKQ87ibfAJjQZ5GpQxWbavD1yxoCE2Pw_wcB&Item=N82E16817153023&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Power+Supplies-_-N82E16817153023&ef_id=U-izlgAAAT5LdejU:20140823161635:s i know its quite cheap but i only had minutes to think about the power supply. Again thanks for helping me out

I think it will power it up as the r7 260x's are quite low power consuming processors. But it will be getting close to the threshold of the PSU, and because it is low quality, there is a chance that it could burn out and possibly fry some components in your coputer.

I wouldnt take the chance, also, for future refference, it's better to invest a bit more on a power supply, a more stable power supply will result in a longer lifespan for your components. it'll work but under load it's not going to work anymore.
