Looking for new monitor

So I just bought a second vapor-x r9 290x gpu card and am looking for recommendations for new displays. I was looking at the Asus pb287q monitor. I just don't to be wasting any gpu power on not good enough displays

Depeding on resolution,

FHD=It'd smoke any game with 75+ FPS on ultra.
2k=It'd run any game like ice cream with 60+ FPS on ultra.
4k=It'd run better on high, 50+FPS than ultra, 30-40 FPS.

I'd suggest going with 2k and enjoying 60FPS ultra than going with 4k and getting just 30-40FPS on ultra.

Asus ROG 2k is an awesome monitor.
