Usually, buzzing sounds come from bad filtering, degraded speaker, low quality cables (unshielded or bad contacts) and unwanted ground contacts. If the filtering is bad, there is nothing you can do unless you are a pro electronist (middle at least).

I had an old RCA receiver that was 5.1 from like 2000. It worked but if it got turned off, when I turned it back on it would make a buzzing sound from the speakers, then the sound would start to crackle in then the buzzing stopped and the sound worked. It took between 5 to 10 minutes for the buzzing to stop, almost like it had to work up or something. I used both the coaxial and optical input and the same thing happened to both.. In the end I never turned off the receiver.
