I started getting a black screen on my computer about a month ago and have now replaced everything except for the gpu and the ram. I've tried a new hdmi cable and a different monitor multiple times. I sent in my graphics card to see if it was faulty and they returned it back saying that there were no problems with it. Could ram cause a black screen?
Specs: Intel I5 4690k
Asrock B85 Fatal1ty
Hyper X Kingston Blu 8gb ram
Gigabyte R9 270x
Evga Supernova B2

So , if your mobo is replaced and you are surd that it is ok, then the problem might be the ram. If you have 2 sticks of ram , then take one off and check again. You can also try unplugging both sticks and check if your computer is "beeping" when you turn it on. Although you got your mobo replaced you can try resetting CMOS (Check mobo manual)
