Yes it would,but only if your Powersupply can handle it.

Open up your PC and give us the make and model of your PSU,or atleast tell us what the sticker says for total Amperage and Wattage on the 12volt rail.

If you're gaming, a new GPU will give you the best performance boost. If you can afford an extra $5, this is the best GPU you can buy in that price range.

If you OC it to 1GHz, it is the exact same as a R9 270x.

Also what is the model of your PSU?

EDIT: Wait... that GPU might be slightly more expensive in the UK.
Umm, yeah, the cheapest R9 270 in the UK is the Powercolor TurboDuo for £108
