Please help! USB 3.0 Adapter!

Solution
It seem you do not understand and you are not listening to what others are saying.
clutchc already provided a link to what you need. That converts the large usb 3 plug to the small one so you can plug to your motherboard. But it also slows down the usb ports from 3.0 to 2.0.
What I provided is a usb 3 card. What you will do is plug that usb 3 header from your case and to that card, that way your front usb will still be 3.0 instead of 2.0
If you have one of those usb 3 plugs like what they used for plugging into a external device, then you cannot into your motherboard, it has to be loop out to the back and plugged into the usb 3 ports on the back of your motherboard.
These are the 3 best methods, if all 3 is not what you are looking for...

If the "unplugged cable" you have looks like this...

And the USB 2.0 header on your MB looks like one of these...

...it will work.

There's the one that plugs into the 20 pin header on the motherboard like above, and there's the one that plugs into the USB port on the back of the motherboard like this...

Those are the only ones that usually come with the front panel wiring on a PC case. If you have something different, post a pic of it.
From your description, I assumed you were trying to connect the front panel USB 3.0 20 pin cable (above) to your motherboard's USB 2.0 header (above)

Last thing you can do is change your board that has the connector your looking for.
Boards with external usb ports built on the inside are mostly workstation boards and they range from $250-$500+
