Hello,

I want to buy a computer for 3D Max rendering and modeling. My budget is less than $3000USD.
I have no idea what system is suitable to me. please help me out to find best hardware.

Naa it's ok. I haven't updated for hardware since 7 years ago. I heard new graphic cards can be dual on one mainboard and work with each other. Does it have more perfomance in the way?

I had a look at it and you really benefit from Xeon processors. The thing is that we expect the new Xeon CPUs to arrive any time soon so imo you should wait just a little bit more. It's within your budget and it is definitely worth waiting. Current Xeon CPUs are not bad but there is no reason to buy an old CPU while a newer is almost at the stores.

Definitely using new version. I need to buy the computer almost in 2 days because I have a project which I should begin. Therefore I'm in rush for time. And I heard GPU is my solution rather than CPU. I read an article shows for modelling and rendering GPU is 400x faster than CPU.
