My newly built pc has got the monitor unable to find a signal

The thing is my monitor can't find a signal and the monitor is a Hp2010i while my computer specs are Amd Fx 6300, Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard, Ripjaw X 8 gb memory, Seagate Barracuda, Gigabyte Radeon R9 270x, Antec Nine Hundred Case, and a Antec 520w Power supply. When i turn on the pc all the fans are working and appears on, but the monitor can't find a signal to its Vga even thought the monitor works on my other computer.

Im connecting from the motherboard to the monitor
And i don't exactly know what you mean 4 pin/8 pin.
Also when i went on pcpartpicker it didn't find that monitor supposedly compatible but i thought most modern monitors worked?

Oh that I have that in there but i have another question as to why pcpartpicker doesn't say Hp2010i is compatible
