So i just went out and impulsively purchased an upgraded motherboard (didn't realize the one i have now is Micro) a SSD, Windows 8.1, and a new Processor (which doesn't fit to my current motherboard). My current PC was gifted to me from a friend, but the windows was/is absolutely corrupt, i don't know how, but he has ruined it beyond repair. I want to start fresh and install my windows 8.1 on my SSD but i don't have the brackets for my SSD, could i just place my SSD somewhere safe in the case while i wait for the brackets to come in the mail?
Thanks,
Scurie

Solution
Yes. You can put it pretty much anywhere. I've had 3.5" HDD's simply standing vertical on the bottom of the case.
An SSD is no problem.
