My pc is currently 5 years old and I'm starting to feel it's having problems keeping up with today's games.

I'm running a q8400 with a 9800gt 512mb

I'm on a very tight budget, and replacing a mobo is too steep for me, so I'm thinking of getting a new gpu instead.

So as the topic states, will my current processor bottleneck a gtx750 ti? And if so how bad would it be?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Nope it won't bottleneck your GPU at most times, or when the GPU is used to its limits, then a slight bottleneck may occur, not worth a reason for not buying that GPU though :)

shouldn't be very serious bottleneck and you should notice huge improvements in gaming performance considering just how old your system is.

hah, starting to feel? that GPU is even weaker than some of the integrated graphics nowdays!
