How do I get OS to new SSD in Raid 1 on new build

Hope someone can help. I built a new computer (1st one) and moved an old hard drive from my old computer to the new build. I installed a SSD and mirrored them. I can''t get the new computer to boot from the SSD which I really want for the boot up speed. The mirror was successful and all the files appear to be there. When I boot from the new SSD it tells me to install an operating system. Any suggestions.?

Yea, install the OS to the SSD.
You can also try cloning from the old drive to the SSD but everything on the old drive must fit into the ssd for that to work.
Lastly there is Paragons paid for program which will move just your OS to the SSD. Its called Migrate OS to SSD. It$20 if you find the coupon code on the net.
