Asus GeForce Error

I got an Asus GeForce GTX660 OC edition and when i overclock, the games slow down and the computer crashes, why is it happening? I overclock it like youtube says and nope,

It could be any of 3 things:
1) Temps are too high and causing the GPU to throttle/crash
2) The voltage is too low for the higher clock speeds, causing a crash
3) PSU can't supply enough power to the system.

It is most likely number 1 or 2. What are your temps under load? If it's overheating, put the fan at 100% (if you can handle the noise) or lower clock speeds. Also if your card had unlocked voltage, try raising it a bit (.025), or if it's locked, lower the clock speeds.

So i dont overclock it?
And yeah, kind of gaming and editing computer

You can still OC it, just take it up slowly and test as you go to ensure it's stable, work with it when you have some free time and keep track of the settings you use as you go, if time runs out, keep the settings of the last good OC and can always drop back to defaults then start again when you have more free time ;)

I also use it for gaming and it runs pretty well, 60 fps ultra almost every game, and would you recommend me to buy other gtx660 and SLI it? All i want now is speed
