Do you need to buy an OS: no
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: amazon prime, newegg, microcenter

CPU AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core $107.99
Motherboard Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 $69.99
Memory G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 $72.00
Video Card HIS Radeon R9 280X 3GB IceQ X² $259.99
Case NZXT Source 210 Elite (White) ATX Mid Tower $44.99
Power Supply Antec 620W ATX12V / EPS12V $41.99
Optical Drive LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer $13.99

It's $10 dollars over with the optical drive. You can try getting an even cheaper case to offset that if that's important.

Edit: The video card is better than the one from the poster before me. My card can give you the performance you want on those graphics intensive games you play.
