Good 400$ Graphics Card?

Hi! Im building a new gaming PC and Im wondering what graphics card I should get, I have looked at the apphire TRI-X AMD Radeon R9 290 OC 4GB card but I want to see if there is a better one out there, Thanks! Rest of specs:

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VII GENE LGA 1150

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz)

Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750G2

Ram: G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Graphics Card: ?

Case: Cooler Master CM Storm Scout 2 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Hard Drive: Some old 2TB Western Digital I have

For the price the 290 cant be beat. It delivers 780 levels of performance at a 770 price range.
Sapphire is also the name to beat in AMD cards.

I dont think that you will see better gpu than R9 290 in that price range. So i'd recommend it.

Crappy HTML coding by the Tom's Hardware site maintainers, that's how. They apparently never thought of using <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow"> in the head of their pages. Another possibility is that they actually intended threads with badly written titles (e.g., "400$") to make it into Google News, just to exhibit Tom's Hardware forum participants' lack of good writing skills.

Thanks! I just watched a video comparing them for FPS(frames per second) and the Sapphire got like 3-4 more so I think I should get that one, any finial thoughts? Im running two monitors and I would like to run games on high, thanks!
Also, I would like to run someone of the new upcoming games such as Witcher 3, Assassins Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, and Batman Arkham Knight, Thanks!

You can run pretty much every game at high-ultra @ 55+ FPS.

3-4 FPS increase isn't a really big difference.If it got like 15-20 FPS more,then it would be a no brainer.
Like this,get whichever one you like better.

Thanks! I think I'm going to get XFX R9 290 Its about 5$ less, but it comes with 3 full games

2 of them aren't that good(Thief, Murder Soul Suspect) but it comes with Sniper Elite 3 so
