Hello everyone!

Well, to start off this isnt my computer, its a friends computer. He caught a virus and according to him, since he got that virus the CPU temps have raised a lot. We already eliminated the virus but the problem persists.

Here are the pc specs (its like 1year old more or less)
FX 8150 (NO OC)
Asus M5A99X
Gtx 760
600W PSU
SSD 120GB
HDD 2TB
HDD 500GB

He used to run at 20°-25°C at idle, and while gaming 65°C more or less. Now, during idle it runs at 40°-45°C, sometimes it goes down to 25°C, sometimes it goes up to 50°C.

I checked the voltages and although i dont know AMD voltages, they seem quite fine Vcore around 1.3, and the other 5V 3.3V and 12V were around their respective numbers.

We are going to try to update the bios now, but if someone knows what could be causing this issue, that would be great, or something for us to try and see if it works!

Thanks in advance!
