CPU Temps High?

I just built a new computer:

Intel i7-4790k (OC to 4.4GHz)
EVGA Geforce GTX Titan Black x2
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK
EVGA 1000w Supernova PSU
Samsung 850 pro 256GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 3TB HDD

I also water cooled the entire system. I'm not sure what safe temps for the 4790k are, but when running prime95 blend tests, the CPU can reach 100C. Is this safe?

Edit: I should also probably mention the monitor i'm using is an ASUS PB287q 4k monitor.

i7 processors have a 95C max "safe" temperature. 105 will initiate a shutdown.
You should aim for mid to high 80s at most, what are your temps under load in gaming/video work?

Thats better then, Prime95 is more load than most CPUs will ever see, mainly just for stability.
