Hello everybody,

First of all i would like to say that this is my first time here and english isnt my native language:)

So my problem is my windows Watch your language! 7 ultimate, It used to be very slow( progam startup took for ages, freezes when i even try the click programs for example in the start menu, sluggish, not responding message all the time etc.) So i did a clean reinstall of windows 7 ultimate and gain like 250 gigs of free space. I have a couple programs installed on my computer like google chrome ccleaner and antivrus programs. And im still dealing with the same problems ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!

If anyone could help me i would really appreciate it guys;)

specs:

Amd fx 4100 quad core

Nvidia asus gtx 650 ti

asrock n68-19 (not sure)

8 gig ram

290 fromt the 500 gig harddrive left

Solution

If you look at the differences between Ultimate and Pro, the differences are features, most of which you probably will never use.

I recommend uninstalling all but 1 AV and see how that changes your performance. I believe the slow down is mainly due to the AV software stepping on each other. They are all trying to scan and eating up resources at the same time.

Hello everyone

thank you so much for responding so quickly:eek:

Anyway, why would i defrag my pc if i deleted pretty much everthing and reinstalled windwos 7? I mean there isnt much left.
And im using malware antibytes, webroot as my main antivrus, and superantispyware.
I already did a virus scan nothing came out of it.....

thank you i will try, but i have superantispyware for spyware viruses and malware antibytes for malware. thats why i like keep them both.

yeah i think malwarebyte protects both against spyware and malware if both of them arent running at the same time and only the antivirus then its probably not it. you could try a lightweight anti virus like Avria.
