Is Stock Cooler Alright For a Intel Core i7 4790k?

Solution
Yes it will be fine as there is NO overclocking at all. But if you do need to spend on a very cheap one but still good at the same time, try Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.

He doesn't "NEED" it, but if he finds that in the future he wants faster editing but doesn't want to have to pay another $300 for an I7 5970K Broadwell then he can just buy a 212 evo or a corsair H80 or something and raise it to 4.6ghz which would give a decent but not huge increase in editing and recording times vs stock 4.0, as well as help him with overall load times, gaming, application funtions etc..
