Hey all. I am getting a new gaming rig and have got everything budgeted except for the monitor, my main question is, will 1920x1080p look much better than 1680x1050. Also what would be the fps difference from 1680x1050 to 1920x1080 (Sapphire Radeon R9 270x OC 2GB GDDR5 AMD-FX 8350) be. Any help is greatly apprectiated.

Solution
The big advantage to 1080p (1920x1080) is that is what most games are designed for. So expect the UI to look best at 1080p. 1680x1050 is also a different aspect ratio 16 by 10 as opposed to 16 by 9. And most games are designed with 16:9 as the optimum. Raw resolution wise, no there won't be a huge difference in image quality.
