Hey there I've been taking a factory tower and installing my own computer parts however since it's been up and running I've been having the problem (not initially it just randomly started to happen) that when I'm doing something like listening to music my computer will freeze for up to 30 seconds and then carry on as normal. It's not all the time but frequent. (I'm up to date with drivers etc so i have no clue really)
I run my games from a Kingston HyperX 240gb SSD and just have a 500gb HDD for my OS (windows vista 32bit)

Here are my PC specs
8GB RAM
AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad core CPU
Nvidia GTX660 gfx card
(cant remember the model but i have a fairly cheap ASUS mobo around £40)
Corsair 750WATT PSU

Any help or advice is appreciated !

It seems odd to me that you chose to put an os on an hdd when you had an ssd (or you didnt move it when you got it). That shouldn't be the problem, but it could be your hard drive. Where is the music located?

some of my music is on my hdd and some of it is streamed. But it also causes my game to lag. Like let's say I turn on my pc on just fine, load up diablo3 from time to time my pc just freezes. I have enough RAM and my cpu isn't above 70% so I have literally no idea what the problem was, I tried swapping the SATA slots around and using newer SATA cables but the problem hasn't dissapeared
