Hello!
Recently I had built myself a simple computer. And upon installing Windows 8.1, the OS (Windows 8.1) had been experimenting A LOT of freezes and crashes.
The case doesn't seem to apply to the BIOS/UEFI of the computer though, which I believe take out the possibility of a motherboard failure(?).
There's no certain action to when the freeze may occur, whether it may be idle, creating new window, or downloading a file, though the chances tend to rise when opening a program. And for the crashes, most of the time it's performing a certain action such as running a program or initiating a install.
I'm fairly certain that all Windows updates are installed, and drivers for the motherboard and GPU had also been installed.
All wires should have been wired correctly, though here's a photo of what the UEFI showed me.

Here are the specs of my computer, if it would help:
Motherboard: ASRock 970 pro3 R2.0
CPU: AMD FX 6300 (AM3+ socket)
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H60
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti FTW with 2GB DDR5 RAM
RAM: Dual 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 1600MHz
HDD/SSD: WD Blue 1TB + Kingston 120GB SSD
PSU: Corsair CS 550 M

Thanks for anyone who comments a possible solution!

Sorry for the low quality but I have no idea of why but snipping tool keeps crashing the OS (mouse may still be moved) everytime I try to screenshot with it.

After tweaking the system and troubleshooting for a little bit, most of the freezes stopped happening. It was probably a OS problem. Though the crashing are still a real bother.
Though a new type of freezes starts to appear. I'm still able to control the mouse cursor, though everything else on the screen is not mobile. This freeze usually resolves itself after sometime, like one or two minutes.
