I would like to overclock it to at least 4.5 (Seems reasonable for this CPU) so I will need a cooler. A air cooler is fine. So could someone recommend the cheapest good CPU air cooler you would recommend. I was thinking a 212 EVO or N520.
Thanks!

The Evo is your best bet for a budget cooler.
I have the CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm A70 paired up with the 2500k(keeps my cpu frosty at 4.5)

Noctua NH-U14S if the motherboard uses a 4-pin connector.

I have the Noctua NH-D14 however it uses 3-pin fans so it didn't work with my new motherboard. Some motherboards with 4-pin CPU fan headers support both Voltage/PWM, however if it's only 3-pin you require a 3-pin fan (Voltage not PWM).

Other:
The EVO might handle a bit of an overclock however it's going to get quite loud.

the hyper evo 212 is good but cant handle those high overclock right now they can handle about 4.2-4.4ghz(from the people i have talked to) and even then they get hot. this cpu however overclocks like a beast so maybe but i would just get a better cooler for 30$ more.

wow creepy picture.

Regardless, the EVO is still going to be far louder than a Noctua NH-U12S or NH-U14S. I've built systems with the EVO and while it's a good value the fan itself is what's causing most of the noise. I swapped a 12cm Noctua fan for fun and the temperature dropped slightly but the NOISE dropped a lot.

If you don't care about noise that's another issue, but I personally dislike excessive noise from a computer.

I even built a gaming rig for someone that is essentially SILENT in idle (PSU fan off, graphics card fan off in idle, CPU fan at 300RPM, and case fans at 300RPM). I used the Noctua NH-U14S.
