Is it likely my CPU or graphics card limiting my FPS?

I have
CPU: 17-3770k @ 3.5GHz
16Gb ram
Graphics card: GiGabyte GTX 660 Ti 2gb
MB: MSI Z77a-GD65 Gaming

While playing something like WoW I end up dropping to 10fps or lower during large raid battles. I have to turn the graphics setting all the way to low to help handle this but I'd rather upgrade a part or 2 so I don't have to compromise visuals. I'm not sure which piece is the limiting factor between the CPU and the graphics card.

And how much of an upgrade would you recommend to pump out 50+fps on decent settings? GTX 780?

I would actually check to make sure your CPU is running full speed while playing.

Yeah i'd say so, a i7 won't bottleneck any gpu, so your gpu is causing these fps
