So I'm building my first computer and I'm now plugging in everything and I noticed a 4 pin fan connector from psu. It's linked to the molonex connectors. I'm assuming this goes into psu fan header on the mobo. My question is this. Is this needed for my psu fan to run, or is for rpm monitoring. I would simply plug it in but that would require removing both top Exhaust fans and It would make my cable management crapy. Thanks.
