In my personal experience i did not have any performance improvements.its best left alone and let the os handle it.
If you still are curious.Then try and unpark,and see if there is any performance improvements for the aspects that you use.

The OS already handles power management quite nicely. There have only been a few instances of default power management hindering application performance (eg, Wildstar) and these are usually best fixed by the application developer.

Yes, you should i have an 8320 and i was only using 4 cores see it on CPU-Z and yes bf4 unpacks cores when it needs it but you get fps drops when it does so it is much better if you unpack all the cores but you have to install some program from microsoft and you have an 8 core cpu that's why you bought it so you should unlock it's power
