Well soldering irons are meant for soldering, kind of in the name. And since no solder would need a 1000c+ temps, I would assume there isn't many out there. If you want a good soldering iron, Hakko makes some awesome ones. I have one and love it. Your whole melt a heatsink part though, well, think you need like a small blast furnace or something for that.
