Graphics card crossfire 270x and 290x

okay so I have two questions

will I get a increase in graphics if I cross fire a XFX 290X with a XFX 270x? I am doing this because I had already bought a XFX 270 X but I was told in order to game on 4k I have to get at least a 290 X and I do not want to go through the hassle of returning the 270 X.

also would crossfiring two 290x be the same thing as buying a 295x2?

You cant Xfire a 290x and a 270x, they are different base chips.
If you want to attempt 4K, you should look into TWO 290xs, not just one.
Having Xfire 290xs is essentially the same thing as the 295x2, but runs at a slightly slower clock speed, and dosent have water cooling.
