Hey Guys! I was just wondering whether a 550w PSU work on a 600w Recommended GPU? (If it does work will I be safe with a 550w? I will be playing games, such as Battlefield 4/ Hardline on Ultra if possible) I'm new to "Building PC's" but my friend helps me a lot. I'm pairing it with a Gigabyte Winforce 3x R9 280x which on there Website says that the Recommended Power is 600w. I'm also very low on budget due to Peripherals which I still need to buy. I haven't started building my PC so please feel free to add recommendations!

My PC Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 3x R9 280x Rev 2.0
RAM: G.Skill 8GB DDR3
CPU Fan: Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212 (A lot of people recommended this)
PSU: (At the moment) Fractal Designs Integra 650w (Costs £43 on Scan.co.uk, so try to keep it within £43 please)

Thanks for the Reply! So will a 550w PSU be perfectly fine, I checked the website and does that "Radeon R9 280x" mean all the R9 280x including ASUS, Gigabyte, Sapphire etc.? Thanks

Yes. :D
