Graphics card problem

I upgraded my graphics card from a GeForce 550 Ti to a 750 Ti super clocked. I can't even notice a difference in how well my games are running. I have a HPE 410y and I've only replaced the graphics card and the power supply to a 600W thermal tech. Could this be because of another issue?

lol a r9 270 is leaps and bounds better than a gtx 750ti and can only play bf4 2x msaa 1080p 50fps. so you have mantle enabled or you llike 30fps at that settings.

well never heard of thermal tech try to get it replaced with another psu. secondly the 750ti is a entry level card no way you were going to get better graphics if you can still return it get hte r9 270 which will play bf4 ultra 60fps.

I assume that you mean Thermaltake on the power supply. Only their Toughpower series has a good rating on the power supply Tier list at:

If the new card works but has no performance improvement, you probably need to reinstall the Geforce video card drivers. The drivers are the same for all modern Geforce cards, but different settings are used depending on the model of card that it finds. I don't know if it changes those settings each time the system boots, maybe it is just on driver installation.

Try that and hopefully things will improve.

I might try and just refudn it and get the R9 270 you're talking about and see where that goes. You don't think it could be because of my processor do you?

A 750Ti is 'NOT' an entry level card. The card could handle BF4 at 1080p at very decent frame rates. Either you are a tech enthusiast to play BF4 maxed out at 1080p.
But I do recommend spending the extra money on an SSD which will provide a SURE significant boost to your PC's overall performance.
