I'm pretty new to overclocking and i haven't really found answers to my questions from the interwebs so i decided i would ask myself.

Currently im overclocking a i5-3570k @4.5Ghz @1.152volts (I think that's really good (not sure))
Max temp ~70c with 15 minutes of prime 95 (i know i should test longer)

i want to see if i could go even lower with the voltage but im unsure with what happens once i go too low and if it will damage anything.

So is it completely safe to under volt and how do i know once ive gone too low?

Solution
My 3570k is stable at 4.4 @1.208v, or 4. 3@1.200, so if you are stable at 4.5@1.152, you are doin damned good and I'd leave it as is unless you are wanting to clock higher. Also try Intel Burn Test. Prime95 will push the cpu @115%, IBT will push it at @125%. If you can pass seberal passes of that and @4 hrs of prime you are doing great.

Undervolting the core voltage is fine and will not cause damage. By default it will already alter its operating voltage based on the operating frequency and power state. Reversing the polarity of the supply will surely cause damage, but this is impossible to do without modifying cables.
