Hi Everyone,

I am Trying to build a Gaming PC of my own. After a lot of research on the web, managed to get together below RIG, just wanted some opinion , how does this RIG will perform if I play latest games like GTA V on its Ultra Settings.

Here is the RIG

AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (FD6300WMHKBOX) Processor

Gigabyte H87M-D3H Motherboard

Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive

LG 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD - 22M35D Monitor

Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7850 HDMI OC Edition 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

Asus Xonar DX PCI Express sound card

LG GH24NS95/GH24NSB0 DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive

Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU

Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet

G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM

Microsoft Wired Desktop 200 USB 2.0 Keyboard

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OEM

Creative SBS A235 Multimedia Speakers

Thanks a ton in advance

Cheers
Sai.

Solution
There's a big mistake. The motherboard will not fit the CPU. The motherboard only supports Intek CPU. You will need an AM3 or AM3+ motherboard. When you get the motherboard, you don't really need a sound card as the integrated sound card in the motherboard is quite reasonable.

Don't get a single stick of RAM, get a dual channel for better performance. Try 2x4 sticks of G.Skill Ripjaws X.
