windows 7 install problem format problems

I'm trying to format my boot ssd, when i run the windows disk it is not showing any drives at all i've tried all the current fixes i can find and nothing will work, the drive doesn't show up through shift+f10 command prompts, no partitions or any of my other drives are showing up but yet they are there in bios, i've tried updating chipset drivers and what not but still nothing any help is appreciated

specs:

intel i7 3770k cpu oc to 4.2
evga z77ftw motherboard
intel 520 series ssd
g.skill 16g (4x4gb) ddr3 ram
seasonic 1000w 80 plus platinum psu

this pc isn't even 12 months old but yet so many problems please help its about to be binned haha
 
Solution
Unplug all the drives except the one you want to install Windows on. Make sure that drive is on the SATA0 port. See if that will make is show up in the Windows setup as a disk.

You may need to try a different SATA port group, there is likely one controlled by the motherboard and also one by an add-one SATA controller (which is also on the motherboard but technically is an add-on chip). If you are using a port that is controlled by that second chip, the Windows 7 setup may not see the drives.
