Is this a good enough build for 1080p max graphics ps3 gen gaming?

That should be able to match PS3 gen graphics just fine. You should be able to play 1080p on most games just maybe not maxed out settings.

I would maybe suggest some different memory though, maybe something like this.

Miles better balance. Swap the i5 for a Haswell (non refresh) i3 if the i5 stretches the budget too far

It's not about looks, it runs at 1600MHz instead of 1333 and has better timings, just all round better performing memory. And its about the same price.

Also I agree with Dersise, that would be a faster build for the money.

That mATX motherboard does everything you need it to do and the money saved allowed a lot if improvements including a better psu and faster ram
