Hello
I'm hoping to start upgrading an old low-end PC I have.
I know it wont be great, which i don't mind really, but I would really appreciate any assistance.
My specs can be viewed here

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01297188&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3644734#N232

I want to see what I can do with an old Machine.
Its pretty low end, but its got potential for upgrading as far as I see it.
I'm looking to upgrade the RAM to at least 2 GB, and upgrade to a Graphics Card, such as a

GeForce GT 610 2GB DDR3PCI Express 2GB

I know pretty much the Max RAM a game could really run at this time is around 4 GB, so I believe that should be fine, as i'm not exactly aiming for BF4 Ultra or anything crazy like that.

Plus i know the RAM either way will improve my computer work, so either way its an improvement.

So far I've found the card online, and I possibly may have found some RAM online too.

" 2GB 2X1GB PC2-5300 DDR2-667Mhz PC5300 240Pin Desktop Memory Ram non-ecc "

I'm hoping this is the right type of RAM as well, as far as looking at the specs it looks right to me but I could be wrong.

I'm prepared to try and upgrade the PSU if required as well to ensure stability.

I wanted some help in doing it, as in stuff like the main questions

*Is this PC compatible with the card i want?
*Do I need a new PSU?
*Is this the right kind of RAM for the System?
*Would these parts at least work, regardless of actual gaming or editing or general performance?
*If so, what game results do you think might be had from a system such as this playing a few basic titles
(Games like Skyrim, various Source Engine Games, Fallout 3,Oblivion, Minecraft, or Terraria)?
and
*Alternatively, any better suggestions for parts?

When it comes to budget, I basically dont have much to spare, and im currently on a small budget of about 70$-100$.
Which is why I'm mostly hoping that I can at least make these parts work, as i don't have any other extra PC to work with but this low end PC.
I mean, I mainly just want it to work enough that i can play those games and screw around to see what I can do on it but that's about it, even if its lowest settings.

Anyways, oh And any tips on how i would go about it and anything else required i might need to make this work. Any more information needed just let me know. Thanks to anyone who helps me out. c:

You need a new computer. Any upgrades you do to that computer won't help much for gaming. You need something with at least a Phenom II processor but ideally a Core i5. You need 4 to 8GB of RAM. An HD 7770 GPU but ideally a GTX 760 or R9 280 and a good brand power supply with 500 watts or more. Also a case with good airflow would be great.
