Core Temp, HW Monitor and Speed Fan showing very different temperatures

I'm using 3 programs to see the temperature of my computer: Fan Speed​​, Core Temp and HWMonitor. However, they show three different temperatures. see:

I am concerned because, according to Speed ​​Fan, my FX-6300 reaches 56 ° C in-game.

The best temp monitoring program for AMD systems is AMD Overdrive. Forget about the rest and their discrepancies.

Three things:
1. There is no standardization for the algorithms used by software to interpret readings from your chip and mobo sensors, so there are usually going to be some variations from program to program.
2. Running more than one monitoring program at a time can skew the readings due to over-polling.
3. You need to make sure you're comparing apples to apples with the temps, both with the data type (individual core temp, package temp, etc) since naming conventions differ from program to program, and with the scenario you're measuring temps under.

I would recommend checking each of those programs individually, with the others shutdown or uninstalled, using an identical test scenario like Prime95 or AIDA64 stability test. Run each one with the same settings, for the same length of time, then log and compare the readings. You can either use the highest temps as your benchmark, or if two of the three programs match, use one of those and ditch the others.

Your lowest Margin is 32.8*C. so you're in good shape. Margin is the difference between the recorded temp and the max safe temp.

- Idle: 39ºC


Your "In Game" temperature is higher, and closer to the recommended maximum, so the Margin is a smaller number. The "Idle" is just the opposite: A smaller temperature which is further from the maximum and this larger difference from the maximum results in a larger value for the "Margin".

Sorry, I think you don't understood. When I'm playing, the processor is at a lower temperature (28ºC) than if I was on the desktop only. And the pattern was to be the opposite: high temperature in-game ...

You are thinking that AMD Overdrive is showing the actual CPU temperature, which it does NOT! It shows you the THERMAL MARGIN, which is the difference between the measured CPU temp and the maximum safe operating temp.
