I've looked around on forums but would like one last input before i pull the trigger tomorrow. I run i dual 1080 27inch monitor display setup and i play alot of dayz. Do you think i would benefit alot from the 4gb version?

If you have the money for a 770 4GB, get an R9 290. Way better performance.

It doesn't hurt to invest in better hardware. I'd go for the 4GB personally.

It would also leave your RAM free to run anything in the background.

On 1080 2GB is fine, if your going higher like QHD or 3 screens then 4GB will be better for texture mapping.

GTX 770 4GB its useless, the card isnt fast enough to use all 4GB.
2GB its enough for 1080P, if you are going to do multimonitor the 4GB wouldnt help much, only if you sli 2 770 4GB.
And someone said that the r9 290 has way better performance? I dont know where you saw that, but gtx 770 beats 290 in some cases, and 290 its only 15% better overall and it runs much hoer, and you cant fortget you have better and more stable drivers with nvidia.

I'd go 770 4gb, just for future

Future? When 4gb will be needed at 1080p, gtx 770 will be alresdy a bad card.
And that card its not fast enough to use 4gb, only if u sli.
So for singlr card 2gb is good 1080p, 4 gb waste of money.

yes, future. Exactly, so it's better buying a 4gb now and sli'ing a 4gb later, not get a 2gb now -.-

I already said, hes going to play 1080p.
When 1080p is needed gtx 770 will be an outdated and bad card, so in the future when 4gb is needed at 1080p it will be better to get a single good card then add another 770

Just cause the Op is using 1080p doesn't mean they will be for the next 5 years. yeah... so that's why you get a 4gb, not 2gb sli...

Wow u cant get it cant you?
OP my call is for 2gb as will handle 1080p high or ultra for the next year or two, then u can start thinkibg of getting a better SINGLE gpu :)
Single card is always better than sli
Hope i helped

ram doesn't add up in sli you do realise so even if the Op did sli a 2gb it'll still be 2gb? :') so funny

GTX 770 2GB: FHD gaming for a couple of years.
GTX 770 4GB: FHD or 2k/ multi monitor gaming for a couple of years.
Alternative- R9 290: FHD or 2k/ multi monitor gaming for 3-4 years.
Note: SLI/ CF DO NOT add up or combine VRAM.

I never said sli in 2gb would combine to 4gb hahaha
U need to learn how to read, i wont explain to you more.
OP if u are thinking in sli in a few months go 4gb, if you want to stay 1080p for 1 or 2 yeards, get 2gb
