Is this a safe thing to do?

Hello there
Today, I decided to try to overclock my RAM from 1333 MHz to 1600 MHz. The problem is that my RAM doesn't have one of those fancy heatsinks that come with those stock 1600 modules. It is just bare RAM. Will I damage them? I just did it in the BIOS and my system seems to be stable so far. I didn't touch any voltages, just changed the clock from 1333 to 1600. Also, my timings went from 9-9-9-24 to 11-11-11-29. Is that normal?

I have a CM Storm Enforcer case which came stock with a 200mm front intake fan and a 120mm rear exhaust fan. I think I have good airflow. Thanks!
I also just tested it with Cinebench and my system was stable all the time, no crashes. It also improved my score a little too.

May want to run a bench mark on it, the sticks at 1333/9 may welll be performing better than at 1600 with the slow CL of 11 - generally from 1333/9 to 1600/10 you get a slight increase then at 1600/11 it becomes a slight decrease as it's taking longer to perform each action (11 clock cycles)
