Ok here's my story.

About 5 months ago I built my first PC, everything has been working fine until this little fiasco. My computer gets hung up during the post process. In the lower right corner of my monitor it flashes the post processes and it runs through them all fine, eventually the screen just turns black and hangs up. My motherboard has its own post LED status display and that reads Post 1: D post 2: 7. In my motherboard owners manual, that correlates to: Console Output/Input devices/console initialization and Load Option ROM (VGA, RAID, Parallel ports, serial ports...) Now when I unplug my graphics card completely I can at least get to the boot menu, which leads me to believe this is a graphics card issue, but I am incredibly new to all of this and really have no idea.

If anyone can help me identify the problem that would be much appreciated. Also, I know my information may be insufficient so if you need anything else from me just let me know and I'll provide it ASAP.

Thanks,
Arcto
