Higher than 1280Mhz on the GTX 770?

I have the GTX 770 stable at 1280MHz core clock and memory at 2700Mhz. I have it slightly overvolted (1.1 volts) but if I go to 1300Mhz on the core clock, the driver crashes. The temps are at 58C with a homemade cooler. I know the GPU could handle a higher OC, but should I try upping the voltage more, or would 1.25 volts be dangerous for the GPU and/or PSU? My PSU is the Corsair CX600.

EDIT: The temps jump up to 65C while running valley benchmark. Also I just found out 1280Mhz isn't stable at 1.1 volts. 1250Mhz is though.

Solution
1.2 is ok for your gtx770. mind though the temps as they will increase , especially the vrm's! i cannot comment on your cooler but sure is effective! maintain temps below 85c and you will be fine! also know that cx corsair isnt for running under extreme stressfull operations as it is a mediocre one, also monitor its behavior!

I bumped it up to 1.150 volts and 1350Mhz core but going any higher on the voltage and the temps get extremely high. The gigabyte GTX 770 doesn't have any VRM temperature sensors... so I used a direct contact thermometer and then temps while running valley benchmark were 100C. They VRMs and capacitors are rated to have a max operating temp of 125C and since I can't overvolt further, I don't need to worry about them. I also had to remove the VRM heatsink to get a temp reading, so it's probably on the high side. Btw, I bought it from my friend, and he had a custom watercooling kit installed on it, guess he didn't like the windforce 3x cooling system...

EDIT: Turns out most games can't handle the OC. Valley and MSI kombustor can, but BF4, Arma 2, Far Cry 3, and Dirt 3 all crash. Crysis 3 is the only game that can handle an OC that high I guess.

well, in that case you've gone far enough on air! reduce clock and reinstall the vrm heatsink.you already have great performance. even if you manage to get it stable on higher speed and voltage, the increase in performace will be minimal compared to the enormous leap in temperature!
