Hello!
I recently built a PC. I'm using a 128Gb ssd as my boot drive and a 2Tb HDD for mass storage. The only problem is, everything saved to my mass drive goes to the desktop, and all the program files are on the SSD. How can I add a folder to the Mass storage drive that won't show up on the desktop, and how can I move the program files onto the HDD?

1. What do you mean by "everything saved to my mass drive goes to the desktop" ? Either the file lives on the HDD, or on the SSD.

2. You can't 'move' the programs from the SSD to the HDD. Uninstall from the SSD, and reinstall them on the HDD. Create a top level folder on the HDD....'MyProgs' maybe. Use that as the target location for the new installs.

On one of these folders, right click on Properties.
What specific location does it show?

Is this a shortcut to a folder, or the actual folder?

It says it's a "File folder". I don't know if that means an actual folder but i'd assume so. It says the location is M:\

In the corner of the icon on the desktop, is there a little arrow? This signifies a shortcut, rather than the actual item.

M: would seemingly indicate some drive other than C (your SSD)
