I have:
ASUS Z97-DELUXE(NFC & WLC) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and
Thermaltake MK-1 chassis (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051U1XMI/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

The case has a rear 140 mm fan with 3 pin female plug.
I also added an extra 200 mm fan on top of case which also has a 3 pin female plug.

The two 200 mm fans that came installed in/with case are already plugged into a 3 pin male connector which is connected to a part of chassis I can't see (on top/front of case where usb and docking station are. )

There are no extra 3 pin males anywhere to plug into. I've looked through my MB cables and the extra molex plug that came with my cooler master fan.

I can't figure out where I plug these two fans? On my MB itself, it has several locations for 4 pin chassis fans but mine are all 3 pin.

Am I missing something or do I need to buy some sort of adapter? :(

Solution
You can use the headers labeled CHA_FAN that are most convenient. With that board, you can set them to a mode (Silent, Normal, Turbo and Ohmygod) in the BIOS - that will ramp them up and down based on your CPU temp. If you installed AI Suite, you can also use the Fan Xpert feature to control their speeds and adjust the mode profiles.

I suspected it might be OK but wanted to be sure. I saw info online about adapters and such.

Dies it matter which fan pins on mb i use or just use the nearest ones?

Thank you!

Oh, i never used the AI Suite. I 'm going to click the 5 way optimization button now and see what it does.
Thanks
