I have:
ASUS Z97-DELUXE(NFC & WLC) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and
Thermaltake MK-1 chassis (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051U1XMI/ref=wms_ohs...)

I was wondering what this Q-connector is for? Do you have to use it or is it optional? Is it just to make it easier to connect your leads? Is that the only purpose it serves? (I'm going to use it just wondering why)

Solution
Yep a Q connector is just a header block so you can connect all your front panel leds, reset switch and power led, speaker to the board.
It just makes life more easy as you can connect everything to the mating block, then just slam it to the board where it needs to be rather than fiddling about fitting each connector key to the pins of the board.

Thanks
What about the one labeled USB? Why is that there? USB connections are all in one plug aren't they? Do I need to use that one too for something?
