My Internet is Really Slow.

I usually have a download and upload speed of around 40mb-50mbs. I was downloading a game on Steam and I realized that it was slower than usual. I checked the download speed on http://www.speedtest.net/ and i was only getting around 2mbs download but 50mbs upload. This is quite odd because I have always had a stable download speed. This started to happen around the time that i started to open game severs for my friends and I and around the time I started to use Utorrent. A answer would be nice. Thankyou

When you are not running game servers and using UTorrent, does your speed return to normal?

Has your ISP advised you of any access throttling they may have enforced due to high usage?

Also, have you reset your cable modem and/or router to see if service returned to normal levels?

No, My ISP has not notified me of that.

Yes, I have tried that numerous times and nothing changes.

The weirdest thing about this situation is that this is only affecting my Computer.

I would scan that system for malware/viruses. You may have something running in the background affecting the system.

You can also try refreshing the network drivers. If a wired connection, try another cable/port.
