4670K Stock temps ok?

Hi,
When running my 4670K in high performance mode (always 3.8ghz) on the stock cooler while playing borderlands 2, my cpu core temps go up to 75 degrees. At idle, at around 800mhz, it runs at around 35 degrees. Are these temps normal?

Seems about normal. Max safe temp is 95C, 105C is shutdown. ~85 is max recommended.

I used to have one on the stock cooler and that honestly sounds pretty normal to me. They run pretty hot in relation to previous generation chips.

It's not bad, but you might consider to get an aftermarket cooler in the future, the stock cooler gets loud at high rpm's . I changed mine with a CM 212 EVO and I'm delighted, I could even overclock to 4.3Ghz (stable)

That's pretty average when using turbo mode on the stock cooler, maybe you could consider getting a aftermarket cooler

just ran prime95 test and the temp. was 100C on the i5 4670, not overclocked stock cooler, just wondering if it is too high
