i7 4790k price?

There's a brand-new i7 4790k at 270$ online at microcentre. Do you think I should get it for this price, or will the 4790k price drop in the next couple of months at black friday/cyber monday/boxing day? Let me know what you think ASAP please.

Intel has not dropped its CPU prices much if at all in years. Individual retailers may have sales every now and then but you are unlikely to get prices any better than MicroCenter's on Intel CPUs.

The problem with Microcenter's incredible deals on Intel's K-chips is: "Available for In-Store Pickup Only."

So, unless you can drive there to pick up your CPU or get someone else to do so for you and mail it to you, the deal is no good.
