Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P / Fx-6350
So ive been all happy with my vishera rig since November but today I was moving and when pc was disconnected already I hit the case with some static electricity... Later when I unpacked it it doesnt post anymore... Sad face,
Fans spin (however not as fast as they used to, just seem to stay on low speed - I can see this because on low speed the 3rd fan of my cnps12x doesnt even start spinning),
I also hear hdd and DVD activity for a second or few, just no video signal,
Tried another gpu - same thing,
Tried removing a ram stick and switching them with each other - no luck,
Reassembled the pc on the table with all unnecessary parys removed, removed battery, the lot. Still no luck.
So - since I need to get the rig up and running ASAP I might just blindly buy a new board - but can this be cpu too? Or it would be completely dead in that case?

Holy moly she's aliiiiiive!!!!
Looks like I had overtightened my zalman cpu cooler or some termal paste gunk had gotten where it shouldn't... Either way - I reseated the cpu and it came back to life... Will report if anything is wrong :)

yup.. board is good i guess - currently running a happy 8370e @ 4.7ghz on it!
p.s. - yeah, my cpu heatsink weighs a freaking kilogram! and that is above the spec for this motherboard cpu socket
note to self - remove it next time!
