I have done speed tests while in games and outside of them, with always getting the same result. around 30-40 ping. BUT no matter what game i play: League/Smite, ect. My ping / ms is always REALLY high. Exp: league - 5k ping, Smite - 1k. This high of ping / ms makes the game UNPLAYABLE. Don't know what specs to give so whatever you need let me know.

Looks like your download speed is not consistent. Run a few more times with the desktop and see what happens. It you get the same as the laptop, the computer is not at fault. But the fact that they have the same upload and ping shows it is not the computer most likely.

That ping is for the speedtest.net servers. You are connecting to different servers. EVERY server you connect to will have different ping.

What are your speedtest results for down/up speeds.

Also 40 ping for speedest is pretty high. I have 8 ping for speedtest and I get 150-200 ping for league.

speedtest usually chooses the closest server to you to run a speed/ping test, a local server is usually selected which is why you are getting low pings there.
The further away from the servers the higher the ping.
Where do you live? And what servers are you trying to connect to?

Also, this is recent. 30-40 isnt high for me. Because about a week ago i would normally get 30-40 in league as well. Basically spot on. Now im getting 30-40 speedtest and now its 5k in league. Also recently, my Download speed have dropped significantly. I was at 15-20 now im at 2-5. All of this happened about 7-8 days ago.

CCleaned the registry, ran maleware bytes, restarted computer, back up to 15 download. odd.
