hello, I have two video cards. One is an intel HD 4600, and the other is a AMD Radeon HD 8790M.

whenever I ask for help (I've done this 7 times now across various sites) they never fully read my post, please read this one completely to understand what I need. I know this sounds entitled but I'm getting very frustrated)

I know that the intel runs when I am running a non high performance program (like when I'm not playing a video game)

I want to make my resolution a constant 1366x768 no matter what I'm running. However, my only choices are

1920x1080
1280x1048
1048x720
800x600

Whenever I consult a website on how to make a custom resolution, they have programs and interfaces that I simply do not have.

Here is my intel one: http://imgur.com/GfD9CKv

here is my amd one: http://imgur.com/zdAChpG

the one other people always have: http://imgur.com/Fhz4798 (notice how they have a different one than me)

My drivers are up to date.

MY QUESTION IS: how do i make a custom resolution that is for both video cards? If you could help me that would be fantastic, I'm getting very frustrated

Solution
ok you have a discrete graphics card the monitor is made for 1920x1080 that's what i'm getting on dells website no point in setting it lower to 1366x768 if the picture looks off let me know
EDIT just encase it doesn't work tell me your hole pc specs the way it will look off is if it has black bars around the screen

I believe they have the option because they have a discrete graphics card then again i could be wrong but i just don't think it supports 1366x768 then again I've never had a amd or Intel integrated graphics before only discrete graphics cards
EDIT now this might sound stupid but you would be surprised have you checked your display settings when right clicking your desktop going to personalize and then display and checking the resolutions there?

hmmm i don't under stand why that option isn't showing up that's odd maybe it's your monitor that doesn't support that option because people don't like letting monitors do what they aren't made to display it's odd
EDIT what's your monitor model see if i can get any dirt on it
