Hey guys want to know that after 3 years of continuous use under full load , capacitors age faster
But how much efficiency my CX 430 is going to give me in the end
Does that reduce or what
Any help is appreciated
It varies model to model. My CX500 had capacitors fail in 6 months, some never do.
You shouldnt be losing too much though.
How do u know that capacitors are failing?
You could check the ripple current with an oscilloscope and notice the filtering is poor after the filter caps are pretty much shot. Graphics card problems like artifacting and BSODs are a common indication though.
If you are lucky that PSU will live until its warranty expires. The CX is built by Channel Well using cost saving shortcuts including cheapo secondary capacitors that will wear out quickly.

The easiest way, well at the least the way I knew, was the system shutdown and wouldnt come back on unless half the components were taken out... Didnt matter which components, just half.
